Both features 4 inch screens, the first offers a modest pixel resolution while the other is featured with Retina Display and offers high definition visuals. Hardware wise both of these are exceptional, powered by Dual-Core processors the two devices are capable enough to perform all your needs quickly and smoothly. 8S has 512 MB RAM and has in-built 4GB memory that can be expanded up to 32 GB while the other has 1 GB RAM and is available with internal storage options of 16GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. So, both the devices are power packed and excellent performers.
The former features a 5 megapixels camera with modest attributes and lacks front facing camera but we must keep in mind that this is a pocket friendly gadget so edges had to be cut from somewhere. The later is packed with an 8 megapixels iSight camera that is designed in such a way that users can explore their photography skills.
Both the devices are great in terms of specifications and performance. HTC 8S seems a bit humble in terms of features but offers too much for the price it asks for. Apple iPhone 5 is a superb device with top-end functionality. You can chose the Windows handset if don’t want to spend much or go for the iOS one if you crave for high end productivity. Either way you won’t go wrong.
